Eligibility

Exams

• FCPS-I cleared

• IMM cleared

Experience - 5 years

• Emergency Medicine - 3 years post IMM

• Mandatory Rotations 

  • Radiology - 2 weeks

  • Toxicology - 2 weeks

  • EMS (Pre-hospital) - 2 weeks

Research

• Candidates who did not submit a dissertation by 31 December 2024 must publish one article based on an approved synopsis in a CPSP-approved journal. Overseas exceptions require CPSP approval.

CPSP eLogbook Entries - minimum 200

• Core training (Emergency Medicine) - minimum 150 entries

• Rotational training - minimum 50 entries

Application

Step 1 - Form completion

• Fill “Examination Forms for FCPS-II (All Subjects Except Medicine, Obstetrics / Gynaecology, Surgery, Paediatrics & Ophthalmology)” - CPSP Examination Forms

• Print the filled form received in email

• Get it signed by Supervisor, Head of Institute and yourself

• Submit Bank Challan / Online Debit or Credit Card Payment -  15,050 Rupees

Step 2 - Documents upload (PDF format)

• Signed Step 1 form

• Scanned paid bank challan / online payment receipt

• Photograph - 300 dpi, front attested

• CNIC - both front and back

• FCPS-I pass / exemption letter

• IMM certificate

• RTMC certificate

• MBBS degree

• PMDC certificate

• Workshops certificates (BLS and 4 mandatory CPSP workshops)

• Dissertation acceptance letter (legacy cases) / published synopsis-based article with the required supporting documents

• Experience certificate - mentioning all rotations

• Rotational certificates

• Appointment letter joining report

Note - Admit card arrive 1 week before exam

Structure

Theory:

• Paper 1 - 100 MCQs - 2.5 hours

• Paper 2 - 100 MCQs - 2.5 hours

OSCE:

• TOACs - 12 stations (+ 2 resting stations) - 7 minutes each

• Short cases - 4 stations - 10 minutes each

• Long case - 1 station - 30 minute (single or multiple cases)
