Visa Extension
Process:
Access the gov.uk website and navigate to the visa and immigration section. Choose the skilled worker visa and then the healthcare visa for extension or renewal.
Complete all the required details on the application.
Verify your identity through the UK ID check app; if compatible with your phone, this app can eliminate the need for a biometrics appointment.
If unable to use the app, continue the application, proceed to select a biometrics verification center, and book an appointment
Pay the £285 standard fee.
Upload necessary documents such as the Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS), bank statements, passport, and current BRP.
Attend the biometric verification appointment with your passport and BRP for the process to be completed.
Suggestions:
Ensure your trust extends your contract annually and request a new CoS promptly after securing a new contract.
Apply for a visa extension after obtaining the new CoS. Apply before your BRP becomes invalid, as staying beyond its expiration is illegal.
Apply for the visa extension within the last 3 months before your visa expiration; earlier applications aren't permissible.
