How to Apply for FCPS Degree & Transcript from CPSP

Introduction

  • A degree and transcript are essential for job applications, especially abroad.

  • It is advisable to get them verified by the CPSP examination department before leaving Pakistan.

  • If there is no urgency, you can wait for the convocation to receive your degree and transcript.

Eligibility

  • You can apply for the degree and transcript after clearing the OSCE exam of FCPS-II.

Required Documents

  • No additional documents are usually required as CPSP maintains candidate records in its online portal.

  • For the transcript, you need to submit a rotation letter (same as the one submitted for the FCPS-II exam).

  • For specific inquiries, contact marsalan@cpsp.edu.pk.

Application Process

  • Apply online through the CPSP Fellow (e-logbook) portal.

  • Fill out the application in the "Fee Section" on the dashboard.

  • Pay the fee online or via bank challan as per your preference.

Degree Collection

  • The degree must be collected in person from CPSP.

Common Issues

Degree & Transcript Attestation for International Jobs

  • For jobs in the GCC and other countries, attestation is required from:

    1. CPSP (This is a stamp of verification added to the back of the degree and transcript, which facilitates further attestations if needed.)

    2. Higher Education Commission (HEC) (Note: HEC does not attest transcripts as they lack marks, per CPSP policy)

    3. Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) (Attestation is valid for 1–2 years)

    4. Relevant embassy/consulate

Receiving the Degree Without Attending Convocation

  • If you cannot attend the convocation, apply for a "Diploma in Absentia" through the CPSP portal (Fee Section).

ECFMG Verification

  • For ECFMG verification, a separate verification fee must be paid via the CPSP portal.

Conclusion

  • CPSP provides an efficient online system for degree and transcript applications.

  • It is advisable to get both documents verified by CPSP before proceeding with further attestations if required.

  • Ensure that your fellow annual fees are up to date to avoid any delays.
