Intensive Care:

Medicine:

  • Internal Medicine - 2 months

  • Gastroenterology - 1 month

  • Nephrology - 1 month

  • Neurology - 1 month


Surgery:

  • Neurosurgery - 1 month

  • Gynecology - 1.5 months (female trainees only)

  • Burns - 1 month (at Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi)


Cardiology @ NICVD:

  • Cardiology ED - 1 month

  • Cardiology ICU / Wards - 1 month


Radiology - 1 month

Research

Synopsis 

  • Submission within 1 year recommended

  • CRC approval - form submission, soft copy email, hard copy submission to CRC lead

  • ERC approval - form submission, CRC approval, soft and hard copy submission

  • Data collection


Thesis 

  • Submission before completion of training recommended 

  • Internal review - departmental review

  • External review - review by non-ZU associate professors
