A specific day is allocated for academic activities, including presentations, emergency medicine updates, OSCE preparations, and guest lectures.
The ED has 28 beds, divided into three units with six beds each and a 5-bed resuscitation room. (300-bed hospital with ongoing expansion.)
Bed capacity can increase to 32.
The ED includes a portable ultrasound machine, its own pharmacy, and a crash cart.
Currently, there is no triage system.
One supervisor oversees the ED.
Rotations follow the CPSP schedule.
For ENT, Eye, and Orthopaedics, rotations occur at other CPSP-accredited institutes.
Residents typically seek hotel accommodations near Gambat, as the hospital hostel is often full.
